Terms of Use

Last updated: August 2026  ·  AskCruise Ltd

The short version: This site helps you work out which cruise suits you. It does not sell cruises and takes no payment. The prices it shows come from a third party, move often, and are not a quote. Nothing here is a booking or a contract.

1. Who these terms are between

askcruise.ai and askcruise.co.uk are operated by AskCruise Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17241334. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean AskCruise Ltd, and “you” means anyone using the site.

By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use it.

2. What the service is, and what it is not

AskCruise is a discovery and recommendation service. You describe the holiday you are after and we suggest cruise lines, ships and sailings that appear to fit, together with our reasoning.

We do not sell cruises, take bookings, or handle any payment. No part of this site forms an offer, a reservation or a contract for travel, and nothing you do here holds a cabin or a price. Because we sell nothing, no financial protection scheme applies to your use of this site.

We have no preferred supplier and no commercial arrangement under which a cruise line can pay to be recommended, featured or ranked more highly.

3. Recommendations are guidance, not advice

Our recommendations are produced by an AI-assisted engine working from what you tell us and from third-party cruise data. They are general guidance to help you choose, and they are not regulated travel, financial, medical or legal advice.

AI systems can be wrong. We have built the service to state its reasoning and to disclose where it has compromised on something you asked for, but you should treat every recommendation as a starting point and confirm the details that matter to you before you book anything with anyone.

Anything that could affect your safety or wellbeing, including accessibility provision, medical facilities, dietary requirements, visa and passport requirements, vaccinations and travel insurance, must be confirmed directly with the cruise line or a qualified professional. Do not rely on this site for it.

4. Prices and availability

Fares, cabin availability, itineraries and departure dates shown on this site are supplied by a third-party cruise data provider. We do not set them and we cannot guarantee them.

A price shown here is indicative, not a quote and not an offer. Prices are typically a lead-in or “from” fare for the cheapest available cabin grade, are usually per person based on two people sharing unless stated otherwise, may exclude flights, transfers, gratuities, port charges and other supplements, and can change or sell out at any time, sometimes within the same day.

The only price that binds anyone is the one confirmed to you in writing by the cruise line or the travel agent you ultimately book through.

5. Using the site properly

You agree not to:

  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose, or to submit anyone else's personal data without their knowledge.
  • Attempt to interfere with, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to the site, its systems or its data.
  • Scrape, harvest or systematically extract content or cruise data from the site, whether by automated means or otherwise.
  • Attempt to manipulate the AI features into producing content that is unlawful, abusive or misleading, or to extract the underlying prompts or third-party data behind them.

The service is intended for adults. It is not directed at children, and you should not use it if you are under 18.

6. Content and intellectual property

The editorial on this site, including the cruise line and port guides and the reasoning behind our recommendations, belongs to AskCruise Ltd. You are welcome to read it, share links to it and quote it with attribution. You may not republish it wholesale or use it to build a competing service.

Cruise line names, ship names, logos and imagery belong to their respective owners, and their appearance here does not imply any partnership, endorsement or affiliation.

7. Availability and liability

We aim to keep the site available and accurate but we do not guarantee either. It is provided on an “as is” basis, may be unavailable at times, and depends in part on third-party services we do not control.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of the site, from any recommendation it produces, or from any price or availability it displays. That includes any loss you suffer because you booked, or did not book, a holiday on the strength of something you read here.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. Your booking, when you make one, is a contract between you and whoever you book it with, and any complaint about the holiday itself is a matter for them.

8. Your data

How we handle personal data, including what the AI features receive and how long we keep anything, is set out in our Privacy and Cookies policy. It forms part of these terms.

9. Changes, and the law that applies

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised version.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
